Mom Gives Homeless Man Meal, Spots Him in Uniform Next Day
It's a hard fact that lots of people in our neighborhoods don't have a home, often ignored because we're busy dealing with our own stuff. We can't really measure how much good a simple act of kindness can do. You never know, it could make a huge difference. While single mom Annie Wen was at the grocery store one day, she witnessed the problem of the homeless man standing in line before her. He was having a tough time with his payment. Thinking fast, Annie decided to help him out. But when she saw him again the next day, she was stunned. It turns out, there was a large part of his life that he'd kept hidden from her. Little did she anticipate, this sudden realization was about to take them both on a remarkable journey that would change their lives.

Meet Annie Wen
Annie Wen, aged 37, was a resident of Denver, Colorado, and served as an assistant in a kindergarten. Her aspirations had always been set on becoming a social worker, but she had been unable to realize this dream because life events had kept her from attending college.

The most significant individual in Annie's world was her teenage son Henry, who was 16. His learning challenges made him rely on her more than a typical youngster at his age. Little did she realize that an unexpected turn of events was just around the corner, poised to transform their lives dramatically.
